This is a general meeting for The Zeitgeist Movement UK, Yorkshire Sub-chapter. Everybody is welcome.
The meeting will be quite informal, with plenty of time for introductions to newcomers, and time for questions and answers about things pertaining to The Zeitgeist Movement, The Venus Project, or the concepts of a 'resource-based economy'.
The purpose of this meeting is to restart local activism and connect members together. We will be discussing how to further our goals, both in Sheffield and the wider Yorkshire area. We welcome any suggestions attendees have on how to accomplish this.
The meeting should last approximately two hours, depending upon the number of attendees and what is discussed, but you are free to come and go as you please.

The University Arms is a pub located in Sheffield, near Sheffield University Student's Union, the Information Commons and is also close to West Street. The main indoor area is decently sized with traditional pub style furnishings and has a moderate-sized bar. There is also a garden outside with benches, tables and other seating. The bar provides food as well as drinks, but only at certain times of the day (I cannot comment on the quality of value of the food served).
An important distinction about this venue, is that it has small conference rooms upstairs that are used for a wide variety of activities. If a lot of people attend the meetings regularily, it might be worth thinking about booking one of these rooms out for the meeting to better accomodate the attendees. If we are short of event locations for giving a small lecture, the rooms could also be used for this.
