TVP in schools

Hey guys and girls.

On 5th March I will be attending a showing of "The Story of Stuff" to year 7/8 (age 12/13) children, at my sons secondary school. After some negotiation, the new headmaster there agreed to make it part of the schools sylabus. I will be there for a Q&A after the showing, and after this event i intend to recrute more schools to show this video.

As TSOS is a great video but offers only a little to solve the problems we all know about, at the end i want to link in something about TVP. I have come up with the idea of just handing out Fylers to spark the thoughts of the children and teachers alike, and offer to come back on another pre-arranged date to talk in more detail about TVP.

I think this would be the best approach but I also thought i would through it open to you guys for ideas also.

So,......fire away.

That's really good, hopefully you can get more school into this. Could you give a small talk on a resource-based economy? Obviously speaking about the Venus Project is great but I find that sometimes just speaking about the ideas of it helps too, without mentioning that there are organisations already out there trying to do something.
