Psychologists

Hello,

I just need to ask why you need Psychologists??

It of my own opinion that Psychologists are in part responcible for our current social engineering, forgive me for not trusting them, but they are behind every ego that ever started a war in the modern age, not all are bad and maybee I am wrong, but I do not believe that psycology is even a science, please correct me learning is great.

psychologists - in reply to freewestray

I know I'm new here but as far as I can tell psychologists could be of great help. Even though a lot of the professional "Frasier Crane" type psychologists can be a bit stereotyped as moneygrabbing, psychology itself is the study of the human mind and can be put to fantastic use in advertising and the media. Don't think of it as a profession but as a social science, a certain knowledge that could be really useful

I agree The Rev. I am a

I agree The Rev.

I am a counsellor so studied some Psychology. In counselling field a fella named John McCleod promotes the idea that "the individual" and "individualism" is a social construct. Some Social Psychologists do too.

Here is a link that syas something about McCleod and offers a "spurious" critique from an individualistic POV. Worth a look, if only to see the arguments-lol

http://www.allanturner.co.uk/papers/social_constructionist.htm

Yes some of the conventional psychology echoes stuff about "human nature" and self that serves to perpetuate certain myths that back up present system. Many counselling models do too. I left a course due to lecturers not having a "social consideration".

I'm quite musical, as i play

I'm quite musical, as i play the sax, flute and I dabble in the piano. I'm also a good drawer. If those qualities could be used then I would love to help.

Saying that psychology is not

Saying that psychology is not needed, or is an entirely detrimental force, because of the actions of many psychologists, is illogical.

Psychology is a ever-evolving, constantly changing area of study/ research.

Doctors used to drill holes into your skull to relieve madness, now the inject mercury into the arms of children, but we can't stop all medical research because of it.

Psychiatry however, in my mind- is just drug dealing for the pharmaceutical industries, and a medium through which to test experimental pharmaceutical "products". How many people can you think of that have been given "experimental drugs", after being diagnosed with cancer, they usually don't last much longer after taking them.

Has anyone got any ideas, as to how to manage the production of the film. Maybe using something like a public wiki page would be useful, I haven't found anything like this up as of yet.

i just replied to another

i just replied to another thread, but it seems you have pipped me to the post in the general concept

'I think if we start to prepare a plan now as to what should be included in the programme/film we can get people working on the information required to create it, this way even if we don't have a full team together as of now the information is being gathered which will be a big head start.

The way I am envisioning this is like so...

1. we need as much information on the UK economic system as possible. Education is key, people will disregard the entire production if just a few errors or inconsistencies occur.

2. we need to recommend literature and productions that already exist, compiling a central system for all info we acquire, we can then go through all the info decide what is relevant and important and disregards the rest.

(The work of John Pilger and many others can help us here.)

3. work out what we are going to say and how. the current system in place has made people more interested in dumbed down 'entertainment' we need to find a middle ground of making sure people understand the magnitude of the injustice and problems but also in a way that won't be to 'heavy' this will put many people off.

I think the key is breaking all problems down to their simplest form and show people how this effects them, everyone they love around them and indeed future generations.

4. Once all info has been collected, and put into a structure that we can clearly present we will need to focus on making the public aware, obviously the internet is a strong choice here as it allows access to billions in the click of a button, however to me this is not the most effect form, we need to think outside of the box,

Some ideas I suggest

(a) mini demo's at train stations
(b) innovative ideas such as printing paper with money on one side but information about TZM and TVP on the other side, small scale, people would see some folded money on the floor, pick it up and be greeted with some potentially life changing info, however can you imagine the stir that would be caused if said 'money' was thrown off of buildings, bridges etc especially if we created a huge stir about free money being given away

The UK press is a joke, its a self regulated totally corrupt system, if we want them to help create awareness we will have to 'trick' them into doing so.

I must stress the most important factor here is to make sure TZM and TVP are seen in a positive light, that means no violence at any time. Peace, Integrity and The Enlightenment of humans always comes first.

I myself am more then happy to start collecting importent information for this, I have many books, ebooks and other forms of media at my disposal as well as a genuine passion for humanity to reach its fullest potential.

N.b. please disregard and spelling or grammatical mistakes, I'm at work at the current time of writing and so this has been a very rushed/ spur of the moment thing'

Im fairly knowledgeable in photoshop, im happy to make posters, leaflets and stencils as well as coming up with other ideas on how to promote us, im also starting to collect usable info for a film or programme
