RE: ZG UK site facelift

Regarding the ZG UK site facelift:

I do like it!

However, I seem to remember the UK site used to link to an external site (with a mostly red and black colour scheme) that had lots of interesting links and activism ideas, flyers etc. - even this idea about writing on money and recirculating it (which I think PJ discourages)

The site was quite old, it wasn't overly tidy or anything but it had some good stuff on it which I wanted to use, and now I can't find it. Has it been shut down, or does it still exist?

Tool Kit

The Tool Kit, with the flyers, is still there:

http://www.thezeitgeistmovementuk.com/toolkit

You can access the page by clicking "Advanced" in top right corner, then "Tool Kit".

Or, if you go to the "Understandings" tab, along the top ........ "Take Action" is the bottom item of the list. Click on that and there is a "Tool Kit" clicky at the top of the "Take Action" page.

approval

I'm sure PJ needs to publically disapprove of many things that he may or may not secretly approve of. Either way, I suggest you make your own mind up about what are good, interesting, clever, fun, effective, etc. ways to promote the movement and do them without requiring approval from anyone, so long as they don't harm anyone or cause discomfort/suffering, etc.

Dougie Mallette does a damn good job of presenting this even with a tough crowd: http://dotsub.com/view/6d679820-7e99-4df7-b41d-5c9c3c59e744

We never directly linked to

We never directly linked to it, but I think you're talking about Factual Solutions' blog, and maybe specifically the advice page on spreading awareness.
The advice there is as good as anyone elses, it all depends on what kind of people they've experienced.
If you want to be good at presenting this idea gently enough and interestingly enough to the right people, you need to either do what I'm not good at and talk to lots of people about their experiences with it, or read a couple of books on general semantics and psychology, and have a think about how what you say affects people. A mix of both would be ideal.

If you have an idea for a flyer or something for an application where a suitable one doesn't exist, you can always stick it on the forum, and there may be a few artists among us who can give it a shot.
