OK, so I wrote this yesterday, aimed mostly at the BBC, but if that seems a little bit out of our reach can easily be changed to suit. I'd appreciate criticism, it is both welcomed and needed!
To Whom it may concern,
For almost a century, the BBC has broadcast interesting, entertaining documentaries and programmes across the UK and throughout the globe. It has seen both terrifying tragedies, and inspirational miracles, never faiing to speak plainly and in a way the eclectic audience can respond to. However, lately there have been problems in our environment, both close to home and worldwide, which have turned people away from trust and towards fear. We all seek an answer.
I am writing on behalf of the UK Zeitgeist organisation, a group solely dedicated to bettering the planet for everyone and everything on it. I do not write to preach, I only write to ask for a small slot on the BBC schedule, so we may further our work in the UK.
Would you not show a Christian documentary? If the Jewish population had a valid point to make, would you not give them their voice through your influential channel? For a long time, it has been obvious that censorship and propaganda are commonplace in our community. Our organisation's question is: Why? Gone are the days where the 'little people' should be kept in the dark 'for our own safety'. We are an intelligent generation, we can think and speak for ourselves. It is our birthright to know all our options and all the possible answers to our nation's problems. You could give us those answers.
As i said previously, I am no preacher. I write only to ask for a chance to be the solution. May that be reached by ten showings, or one. Below I have listed some websites with our Zeitgeist documentaries and official information about our group. I hope you will find them useful.

it made me laugh when u said about propaganda being in our community, on the basis that the bbc feeds most of it. I can see this going horribly wrong because like most shows that are shwon on tv the get onto comedy shows and ripped to pieces and then the public (being the sheep that they are) believe in what the comedian says then thats it really, tv wins again.
i think it is to risky to go with the bbc until we have bin properly established in the eyes of the working people, otherwise TZM name could get damaged

you are truly a testament to the fact that age has nothing to do with intelligence or manner, I think that is a fantastic, well thought out well put letter and congratulations on taking the time to do this. I am writing As a Representative of A social organization currently 315,000 members Strong called "The Zeitgeist Movement". Based on our current growth rate, we expect to have well over 1 million members by 2010, conservatively, and we are now active in over 63 countries. a group solely dedicated to bettering the planet for everyone and everything on it. (this way they have a bit of background on us to lend creditability I do not write to preach, I only write to ask for a small slot on the BBC schedule, so we may further our work in the UK. The goal of our movement is to address the true foundational causes that are generating the economic/ecological/ethical problems we see in the world today.

Thanks for your improvements and your compliments, Ben, they were very helpful I felt a bit edgy writing about the religions, so i'm glad you lifted it out for me
As for your comment, Dean, I do think you're right. Perhaps the BBC is a little too close to the government and the public (as of yet anyway). However I still think it's frustrating for us and potentially unfair (depending on other's opinions of us) to others that it is not aired enough and on less obscure channels. Maybe there is a minor channel still readily available to the public?

I agree with the frustrations but remember, if we air 100 times on 'small' channels eventually the bigger ones will have to pay attention and hopefully by that time we have a big enough following that no matter how much they break it down and scrutinise we are there to answer it all.

yeah that is what i was trying to say, i just can see it going to big to fast and getting pushed to the ground, if you knwo what i mean, i tihnk step by step up the tv channels would be good, and the bbc showing most of the propaganda towards iraq and things like that, to air somtehing that is going in the complete opposite direction to where they are going it is either going to get shunned, or they will let it on there only so they can rip it to shit. so i say go for the smaller channels that dont have ties with news channels and i think it will be aired ok.
but i cant think of one channel that isnt like that.
