BZM Meeting 1
Location:
Bristol Flyer Pub
Gloucester Road
Date:
05/07/09
Time:
20:00 - 22:30
Being the first meeting for Bristol ZM it was a very informal "getting to know" series of discussions. Mainly to establish one another's comprehension of the Venus Project on a general scale.
Briefing of issues raised:
> Present monetary system structure in the UK.
> Geothermal power and other forms of "free" power (inc. wind-power utilising magnetic fields to provide the smallest resistance and thus most energy conversion).
> Use and understanding of language to articulate issues without producing (too much) ambiguity.
> Designed Obsolescence.
> Peter Joseph's radio show on BlogTalkRadio.
We then discussed, and began some (extremely) rough plans, for social activities to help communicate the ideologies behind the ZM.
Ideas to spread social awareness:
> A stall in the city centre handing out flyers, copies of Zeitgeist Orientation Guide and allowing members of the public to ask questions concerning the Venus Project.
> A short story film of a young boy and his discovery of physics. It will look into his confusion over his understandings of physics and the actual applications of modern day society.
Other areas raised:
> Anti-gravity potential.
> Freeman/Strawman principles.
> The Disclosure Project.
Weblink and Literature recommendations:
> The Best That Money Can’t Buy (Jacque Fresco)

> Blogtalkradio (Peter Joseph's radio show)

> Antiterrorist (youtube)

> Tether Incident (youtube)
> David Icke on Big Brother

These links above are in relation to the areas of discussion in the first meeting.
In many cases they help support the reasons to move toward the Venus Project ideologies and fundamental principles, but in no way do we at Bristol ZM wish to be directly associated with many of these links. They are used to emphasise and encourage the seeking of information and understanding.
