Date:

Briefing of issues raised:
> Does Instinct have any meaning in humans. Discussing the “instinct” to reproduce.
> The perspective of people from various view points and the labels established by the viewer dependant upon their background.
> [BZM DOC] In relation to the sections presently under construction (Property, Communication and Transport) a brief overview was made as to the relevant outcome desired from each documentary.
> The types of questions required for the public (dependant upon their interests/day job) to invite them to think about the part the monetary system has in the corruption of society, and what their opinion of corruption is.
> Questions raised:
- Where do you think Bristol’s wealth comes from?
- Why do we protest?
- Is protesting beneficial?
- What's the cause of crime?
Ideas & activities to spread social awareness:
> We will attempt to make every second meeting an “event” meeting, where in which we watch a film, or we go to an event, museum, etc. related to the movement in some way.
> [BZM DOC] The BZM has began the move toward creating a selection of short documentaries outlining some fundamental flaws in modern day Bristol. We will then relate these flaws to there origins and (hopefully) prove the inherent corruption of the system we use. Sections in the meeting posts relating to the documentaries will be highlighted by opening with “[BZM DOC]”
- Three new Threads will be opened with the titles that encompass the issues raised in each documentary (Communication, Property and Transportation). These will be used for members to discuss ideas, suggest sources, etc. in the relevant areas.
- A Thread will be opened titled "General" for general ideas toward the films.
- From now on the BZM meetings will be split up to allow discussion on the specific topics relating to the themes of the documentaries, as well as general ZM discussions.
Other areas raised:
> Creationist/religious theories on race.
> What is Phobos, the moon of Mars, and what makes it so strange?.
> [BZM DOC] Archive.org a wealth of information on the internet.
The links above are in relation to the areas of discussion in the meeting.
In many cases they help support the reasons to move toward the Venus Project ideologies and fundamental principles, but in no way do we at Bristol ZM wish to be directly associated with any of these links. They are used to emphasise and encourage the seeking of information and understanding.
