I have worked for 15 years in the areas of grounds maintenance and landscape gardening, then 6 years in telecoms.
I have some skills in wood and metalwork, horticulture, construction, irrigation systems, copper and fibre cabling, server maintenance and operation, network operations (routing, switching).
Well I am new to this site so hope this is the right format for skills etc
I am currently an IT Project Manager Monday to Friday primarily concerened with making things happen in relation to Data Centres ie boxes on the ground, racking, cabling etc etc so I guess I must have some organisational type skills or maybe I just shout a lot
At the weekends I don my PPE and carry out various Tree Surgery and gardening type jobs as I am a qualified Arborist and like nothing better than swinging from a Sycamore on a rope wielding a chainsaw....you know what they say about boys and their toys
Oh dear oh dear...
Stu@RBL just made me aware of this site: Zeitgeist Resources.
Sorry Myra, I'm afraid your post just became redundant, clear up the thread into a cardboard box and Kayomani will show you out.

i build pc's. high end pc's. im pretty good with operating systems. ive trained partly as a plumber. also did a few years training as a chef. and being a child of the 21st centuary im pretty handy with most of the inner workings of the net.
while thinking about this, i tried very hard to come up with more that would make me more appealing, give me more of a feeling of purpose, and perhaps somehow thrust me into the center of this movement....
then it occurred to me.... thats ego, thats vanity, and most importantly thats WRONG!
so ill simply say this. i am a human doing, so that the J/P. Morgan's and Rothschild's of this world may have more and more things they dont need, while i waste away my exsistance, secretly contemplating the meaning of it all, getting progressively more angry by the day at my blatant enslavement.
i seek to change this.
i wish to become a human "BEING", for the betterment of all mankind, and animal kind, and the planet.
i want the Red pill! lets see how deep the rabbit hole goes! LOL
I'm a computer program. Have been for years. From web to embedded software. I can build PC's and give classes in using them. I'm co-author of http://www.realityinfo.org which is also a critique of the current system. I'm open. Come on in.
Hello all,
enthusiam
compassion
understanding
awareness
open-mindedness
love
friendliness
happiness
acceptance.
The above are skills I feel we should all display if we're going to make a difference.
One little voice + another + another +another and so on = the change we wish to see in the world.
In response to what Alphyra said -
I know just what you mean about the ego thing, but surely its admirable enthusiasm as well as ego.
I worked in IT for a number of years where I qualified as a Cisco Network Engineer (Level CCNA).
I am good pretty good with anything electrical and have a good amount of experience with Hand/Power tools!
I have experience in Entertainment rigging, this could be transfered to a different scenario!
I also have experience of management in the field of entertainment again this skill set could be transfered!
So when are we having a meet in wales people!!! I can get around 6 - 7 people to come along!
I am a badass multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, performer.
I produce sound, music, video, voice-over for live performances, theatrical performances, radio, television and film, at my home recording studio.
:ugeek:
I am also a human being and would love to help change our world for the better in any way I can.

I'm not really sure I have any skills ... however I have cared for people nearly whole of my life ..
I do specialise in helping vulnerable children and adults overcome obstacles and to get to some degree a better quality of life ..
having been slight autistic as a child I could make some wonderful things from lump of playdoh and would spend hours manipulating it into things that I loved and treasured ... i.e family members faces etc ... I'm sure if anyone else saw them they wouldn't have seen what I saw ... this gave me a better communication to Children with Autism & Asperges ... I could see what they saw ... Likewise I see what you people here see .... I want to be a part of it .. and want to help in anyway I can ... .. I am currently self educated but my enthusiasm to learn has taken me into studying a degree into social sciences .
I dont know what else to put ... I'm new here and also new to the whole system ... Ive only just discovered about religion ..and its true meaning ...
I have very good people skills, I find it very easy to find things in common with other people through conversation.
I just spent a week in Austria and Germany Couch Surfing and meeting new people and found that there was a lot that I had to learn and share with people out there. I also made a conscious decision to learn German once I get back to the UK.
Zeitgeist was dropped into a conversation that I was having with a host in Salzburg, whilst I was complaining of life's distractions, not a lot was revealed. as I am innately curious I decided to look it up when I got home, so now I am here. :eh:
By day I am a Health and Safety Assistant on a construction site, where I spend an hour inducting people on the project that I work on. I also spend a lot of my time coordinating training for the people that work on the project, I maintain databases based on current skills and skills that needs to be attained in order to keep people in line with industry standards. I also go out on site and do inspections. I love my job, but I do not feel that my full potential is being brought to the surface. I feel that if my strengths are recognised then there will be no limits. As a result I see work as a distraction from something that I cannot yet grasp from life.
I have experience in Public Relations and Event Management and have a BA in History and Media Studies.
I have had exposure and experience in the following industries: Construction, Local Government, Logistics, Hospitality, Advertising and Branding.
I am also a mentor for a university student.
Experience and education has shown me that I should always maintain an open mind and to take my time when making decisions. This is because all may not be what it seems on the surface.
First I'm a father of two loving children,
I am A carpenter but also trained in a number of other construction skills. I have spent my whole working life chasing the dream of great wealth programmed into me , I have always thought since my one and only visit to Sunday school something was not right, about it and with many things ,only now I'm opening my eyes.
I have been a traumatised paranoid drunken drug addicted lost soul. My road to recovery has brought me compassion and real love.
I believe my insight into human conditioning is very relevent to our movement.
[b][col]YOU CAN HAVE A NEW IDEA ONCE YOU REJECT THE OLD ONE
I can help with graphics and website design. I run a small web company.
I have also qualified as a music producer and aim to release some music next year. I could also offer my services for voice over and narration (I have a very nice tone).
http://www.blandydoes.co.uk (My company, changing soon...)
http://www.wakingknowledge.co.uk (My Blog... working on it...)
http://www.youtube.com/wakingknowledgeTV (Will be looking to promote Zeitgeist here)
If anyone needs any help and it will not require too much time I am happy to help out, naturally we still live in a monetary system so for now I can't just give up running my company for profit per hour without real urgency, although my heart wants too, my head has to stay true to the social systems in place. In other words what I am saying is, I have commitments which keep me fairly busy making money, however if you have something need doing which requires little effort, I will do it free of charge. Anything more which requires more effort, I could negotiate some sort of advertising package instead of money. Over and above that like a full site design, well we would need to look at compensation in the form of currency. lol Hmmm well there goes my Ethical approach to business... what a world we live in eh!
Fear not, the new branded Blandy Does Ltd site coming 2010 will be very much geared towards the more Ethical approach including green initiatives and constant promotion of such ideology as Project Venus and the Zeitgeist movement. The aim here is to attract sound business minds and not sell myself out to the dominant monopoly holders in my area. Lets support growth in the local community by entrepreneurial stimulation, not destroy any chance of the little guy having success by funding the big bastards!
Sorry, I think I went a bit wayward there...

"Dream no small dream, for they have no power to move the hearts of man"
The only qualification I have for this movement is my overwhelming disgust at the current state of humanity. However I was active in politics (socialist workers party) for a number of years where i gained experience on public awareness and information distribution. Another way I feel I could benefit this cause is my willingness to give every minute of my day to the purpose of this idea. It is truley the only solution, not just for our happiness as a race but our actual survival.
I am new to the Zeitgeist movement as only watching the movies on the net yesterday but i am convinced that TVP and TZM ideolgy and vision for the human race is what i want for myself, my family, the human race and the planet.
I want to help in anyway possible and hope that my skills can one day help The Venus Project realise the dream of a better world, the one i have seen and hope for the future.
I am only young so i am still gaining my skills in Electrical Installation at college but have worked in the industry for roughly 4 years and also have experience with CCTV, door access and Fire/Intruder Alarm systems.
If there's anyway i can help feel free to message me.
Thankyou for reading.
Hi there,
Why dont we make TASK LIST sticky at the top of the forum so people can sign up for them...
I think it is much more productive aproach. Many of us are multiskilled (most not aware of this ).
Secondly, it would show that something is actually happening, so people would get motivated too... :!:
what if you have no skill
everyone has atleast one thing to contribute be it small or a big contribution

Morning all,
I have recently (2009) graduated in Computer games design, specifically 3D modeling and animation. In recent times, I have moved from the gaming industry and now I am looking for a career in the animal industry (as I dont really want to work behind a desk for the rest of my life) so animation and modeling is more of a hobby than a occupation, if you know what I mean.
I have experience and I also enjoy talking to people about their views and opinions about all sorts of topics, I had a student job in a night club within the promotions team. Talking to people, I think is the best way of communication.
Other skills:
Team player
Hardworker
Always willing to learn new skills
Great communicator
Thought I would put my 2 cents in
Have fun
Hi All,

I am familiar with the Greek Alphabet

reasonable typing skills
basic programming
fair knowledge of statistical software
fair knowledge of the all-annoying powerpoint
I make an excellent brew (of whatever herbal infusion...)
I am barista trained (5 and a half years to date), and make an excellent cappuccino (I surprised myself)
joint rolling - tulip, 5-skin, whatever (hey, it's a skill)
singing (not the best but definitely not the worst)
acting (on stage, not on camera)
basic bellydancing
basic ceilidh dancing
always eager to learn more dancing 'cos it's fun
Other than that, I'm caring, cuddly, a good listener/shoulder, confident, usually pretty bubbly, as honest as I can be, I enjoy working with kids, I'm usually quite smartly dressed (although I don't suppose this matters to anyone here :eh: ), and I try to be early for everything if I can be.
There may be a few skills I've missed but I'll post again if I remember any...
ooo!
Basic Calligraphy, and I can make a reasonable feather quill. I can also carve wax, wood, and this other random crazy material that I can't remember the name of :? oh and I have a basic knowledge of welding, and a basic knowledge of basket-weaving.

horse riding
basic horse care (and probably other animals as well)
limited knowledge of lambing
I have decent handwriting
bed-making (dunno if this counts, but I worked as a chamber-maid one summer)
cleaning & furniture polishing

I can get a good sound out of a cow-horn
erm... I'll be back later if I think of anything else
...I'd like to have a go at hand-spinning sugar
I regards to sacraficialangel7 [jaw drops to floor]Wow and you look like you're in your twenty's, how do you find the time or do you also have an anti-ageing secret

lol HHaddow990, I am 20 years of age. Most of my skills are as a result of being brought up in a crafting commune surrounded by farm land. It's not a case of finding the time to learn them now. It's a case of learning as you go along and always taking the opportunity to learn a new skill.
Speaking of which... I have a few more to add to my list:
Basic knowledge of wine brewing
Full Driver's license for a car/van only
Basic knowledge of candle making
Basic knowledge of fabric colouring (with natural dyes also)
Face/Body painting (including abstract work)
Archery (mainly longbow, of which I have 2, with arrows)
Round shield-making (wooden shields suitable for historical re-enactment and martial arts)
Canvas tent-making and design
I have a good sense of colour co-ordination (in clothing and on paper)
I can make plate mail armour
Personal qualities that I missed earlier:
I'm spiritual and open-minded
I have a fair sense of balance
People often forget that simple things like cooking, baking, knitting and sewing are all useful skills. If you have enough skills to live on your own then you have something to offer.
Note: I'm not saying that if you can't live alone then you're useless either.
This is just a point of interest... I forgot to mention that due to my creative nature I am able to teach myself new skills based on intuition and end results.
I intend to learn to make sweets and chocolate at home using basic ingredients (fairtrade organic wherever possible). I will be doing a lot of inventing, and am interesed in any crazy ideas (PM me). Once I've got to grips with the basics, I'll create and name a few different types.
For legal reasons (mainly cos I can't be bothered with the legal stuff) I'll not be selling them, but if you want something just PM me and I'll see what I can do

I'm Alan, an overweight, slightly pompous middle-aged man.

Largely self-educated in later life due to a lazy streak a mile wide and the attention span of a goldfish in younger life.
I have good HTML and CSS kung-fu.
I've a keen interest in all sciences, and a reasonable comprehension of such to about GCSE standard.
I'm rubbish with numbers but good with algebra.
I'm good at talking to small and large groups and am considered a good and engaging educator.
I'm a hobbyist 3D modeler and animator.
I can groom and tack horses, as well as clear a field of poo. I don't ride though.
I've extensive and utterly useless experience of sales, advertising and marketing.

I've a good eye for design and some skills in this area.
Patient and understanding to a fault.
I drive automatic-only.
I play drums well, keyboard and guitar poorly but with great enthusiasm. I sing OK too.
If any of that's any good to anyone here, I'm glad to help.
See ya!

if there is something to say about me is that i am a survivalist... my skills, if I think about it are probably not even real or at least not necessarily applicable into the NEW WORLD because they were formed during my constant indoctrination until this moment.
what we all need in order to make this movement work is knowledge, ambition, determination, courage and love, for we will not succeed if we don't love each other and show other trapped minds that there is another way. I'm thinking that probably not long from now the movement will grow, so much that the attention of the "Puppeteers" will be focused solely upon us. that is our crossroad, therefore I believe that hard times are just beginning and we as a movement will probably suffer the worst. the only way we can get past this is by realizing that we are fighting for a dream and as long as that dream is alive we are the winners and they cannot force us to believe otherwise.
because nothing lasts forever just like time and time again history has shown us, this change/transition will happend, it is inevitable and the next logical step.
my fear is that it might not happend in my lifetime, but I'm willing to put all my effort into achieving our goal. our offsprings deserve a chance to live a better, healthier life.
it saddens me to realize that this message sent out by this movement has impact only on people who actually use their mind and in order to succeed we will need everyone. the new world cannot be divided otherwise the whole concept will fail.
fear not of this, instead let us use our minds to enlighten the weaker ones and bring hope to the hopeless... for this will be our greatest weapon.
having that said... i'd really like to know who is in charge of operations and if there is someone who i can actually talk to about getting ideeas into action.
my yahoo messenger id is soul_hunter42
Thank you for taking your time to read this

Hi all,
Im Not too active on this site but I am doing my own thing spreading the word  .
But I have come across this gentleman who i think may benefit from some of the people within the zm movement who have more than a modicum of expertise to help him along the way.I feel i may have missed the boat when it comes to Marko but if you would all just take a look at this link-> http://www.markorodin.com/content/view/31/62/
Paul
I live to survive slavery in a world where only the 'chosen' few reap the rewards. The only 'things' I wish to acquire are things to aid my progression as a human being. Knowledge, skills and the coming together of the human race. I watch the news and I see straight through the lies and truth-twisting.
I am a web designer. It's not something I'm really passionate about but it's something I can do to keep food in my stomach and shelter from the rain.
Anyway, hello everyone. I will be regularly using Facebook and Twitter to help spread the message.
What makes me more annoyed than the lies, greed and manipulation of the powers that be is the lack of will from the masses to stand up and say 'no'.
